Stefan is a Director in Caldwell Ritchie Berry.

Stefan helps clients in setting up construction projects and engaging their supply chain drafting and negotiating contracts as well as assisting to resolve to any disputes. Stefan also advises on procurement matters advising private entities and public authorities regarding tendering and procurement challenges. Stefan has an in-depth knowledge of high value supply agreements where his work involves drafting, negotiating and advising in relation to supply agreements for critical electrical equipment and infrastructure in relation to data centre projects.

Stefan generally acts for main contractors and first-tier specialist sub-contractors. Stefan has extensive experience in adjudication, mediation, conciliation, litigation and arbitration in relation to all manner of construction disputes. Stefan has a comprehensive understanding of all range of standard form contracts advising in relation to matters issues relating to the full suite of JCT, NEC, FIDIC, IChemE, GC Works, PWC, RIAI and RIBA forms of Contract.

Stefan’s work is frequently multi-jurisdictional advising in relation to matters across the UK and Ireland and clients based in the UK or Ireland in relation to projects across Europe or the United States.
